Gathering in
Laval, Quebec, Canada

On July 12, with
the help of his son Michael, his grand-children Alexander and Natasza
as well as his nephew Smyk Siemieński, Marcin
Tarnowski organized and hosted in his condominium lounge a family get
together to celebrate recent weddings (4) and births (5) among our
younger generation. The reunion was a success on all counts and was
attended by a total of 39 family members consisting of 12 oldies and
19 from the younger generation with 5 children and 3 babies.
Besides helping to celebrate those
happy family events, this reception was also organized to raise funds
for the Cts. Zdzisław and Zofia Tarnowscy old
orphanage in Mokrzyszów, near Dzików. In that respect, the evening was
also a resounding success. The family members always eager to
share with those in need, gave generously $700.00 for the orphans.
This money will now be officially remitted to the orphanage by Paweł
Tarnowski, together with the donation from the Tarnowski Association
during its reunion in Dzików on August 15, 2003.
